Risk's Native American Flute Page

<>Cedar NA Flute

I have recently crafted several NA Flutes.  Some are of cedar and some (the early ones) are PVC. The flutes are great on the trail as a musical diversion, weighing about half what a harmonica weighs.  I liberally soaked one of the flutes in deck water seal, so it is safe even if exposed to a drenching rain.

It is crafted of Western Red Cedar and has markings from a rubber stamp I carved on its side of several little fish.  The flute plays the pentatonic scale from low to high:

A C D F G

I have also done some initial recordings of songs which you are free to listen to. Of course, all the songs (as well as everything on the pages) is Copyrighted and is not to be posted at any other site without my written permission.
